Many low-income families are unable to obtain conventional credit and rely on payday and auto-title lenders for small loans that come with predatory interest rates. This webinar will look at an alternative working in 16 markets across seven states that allows local nonprofit organizations to serve as the lender for fairly priced payday loan alternative program that is both a sustainable and scalable social enterprise.

To date the Community Loan Center has provided more than 38,000 loans and saved borrowers over $18 million compared to payday loans. The goal of this webinar is to highlight how your organization can bring the employer-based Community Loan Center to the communities you serve.

Connect & Share is a monthly program available for free for CEDAM members to network, learn about relevant topics and discuss challenges without obligation. Topics and days of the week will vary each month and members can simply register for the topics of interest. A recording will be available in our Resource Library on demand.
